Dibs started with a frustration that became especially clear while planning my honeymoon.
I had travel cards with useful benefits, and this felt like the perfect opportunity to put them to use. But figuring out which benefits applied, where to book, and how everything fit together became another layer of planning.
Which card had a hotel credit available? Could I use a free night? Did I already have access to breakfast, late checkout, or a lounge? Would booking through a different site mean missing a benefit?
I wanted to focus on the trip. Instead, I kept switching between card apps, benefit pages, and booking sites, trying to piece together what I already had.
My background is in finance and strategy, so comparing options and working through details comes naturally to me. I also love traveling and getting good value from what I’m already paying for. Even so, this felt harder than it needed to be.
And finding the answers once wasn’t enough. For the next trip, I would still need to remember what I’d used, what was left, and which deadlines were coming up.
I wanted something that could keep those details together and help me apply them to the trip I actually wanted to take.
That’s why I created Dibs.
Dibs brings your travel benefits into one place and helps you understand how to use them for your plans. What’s available, what you’ve already used, and what deserves a look before you book.
It’s built for people who enjoy traveling and want more from the cards they already carry, without spending their evenings researching benefits or maintaining a spreadsheet.
Whether you’re planning a quick weekend away or a honeymoon you’ll remember for years, the goal is the same: less time piecing everything together, more time looking forward to the trip.
